This year’s Tar Heel Service Days span from Thursday, Oct. 12 (University Day) until Sunday, Nov. 12. The Central Jersey Carolina Club is inviting all local alumni to participate in Hopewell Township Clean Communities Day this Saturday, Oct. 14 as a way to give back and show your local Tar Heel generosity and pride. If you cannot participate in this service project, local NJ Tar Heels are encouraged to volunteer in their own communities during this period (and beyond!) in the spirit of the 2023 Tar Heel Service Days!
Anyone participating in Hopewell Township Clean Communities Day should meet at the Public Works building at 9 a.m. on 203 Washington Crossing Pennington Road in Hopewell Township.
Individuals will receive protective gear, any tools needed, and an assigned area. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.
